Job summary

RSGx Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical designs for grid connections, distribution and substations for data centres and critical infrastructure across Australia. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients and construction teams to deliver high-availability electrical systems.

You will bring a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, proven data centre design experience, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit and PowerCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required.
• Experience in electrical design for data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Understanding of grid connection and substation design.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for grid connections, networks and substations.
• Design LV, MV, HV distribution systems and protection schemes.
• Create substation layouts, single-line diagrams and cable schedules.
• Review design documentation and support technical problem solving.
• Ensure adherence to Australian Standards and project requirements.
