Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking an Associate Service Technician 24/7 in Warrnambool to support data centre operations, monitor infrastructure and assist with maintenance tasks to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will work with service technicians and contractors, follow safety procedures, document events and contribute to continuous improvement through learning and development opportunities offered by the CDC Academy.

Qualifications

• Entry-level opportunity in data centre operations requiring motivation to learn and grow.
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
• Experience in or willingness to work in highly technical environments such as telecommunications or IT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage with Customers, Service Technicians and contractors during maintenance works.
• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuous service and no disruption.
• Utilise monitoring systems to oversee site conditions and respond to events quickly.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and reporting is timely.
• Provide timely reporting of events and assist restoration to normal operations.
