Job summary

CDC Data Centres Pty seeks an Associate Service Technician 24/7 to support data centre operations, engage with customers, and oversee maintenance activities to sustain uptime and reliability.

You'll monitor critical infrastructure, respond swiftly to events, ensure safe working practices, and provide timely reporting to keep operations aligned with client needs. This entry-level role offers training, development opportunities and a clear career path within a growing national footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience working in technical environments such as telecommunications, fibre, fire systems, IT, industrial facilities, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365 applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuity of services and no disruption to client’s or business operations.
• Support and engage with Customers, Service Technicians and contractors undertaking support activities and overseeing maintenance works.
• Respond to customer requests and critical events swiftly.
• Ensure personnel are performing activities safely and in accordance with CDC’s processes and procedures.
• Provide timely reporting of events, and support restoration to normal operations.
