Job summary

CDC Data Centres Pty is seeking an Associate Service Technician to join our 24/7 operations and help maintain uptime across our data centre facilities. The role focuses on supporting customers, performing maintenance tasks, and monitoring critical infrastructure to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will collaborate with service technicians, contractors, and internal teams, identify risks, and contribute to practical, safety-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience working in technical environments such as telecommunications, fibre, fire systems, trades, IT, industrial facilities, or related fields.
• Confidence collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, subject matter experts, and external service providers.
• The ability to identify risks and develop practical, effective solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365 applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuity of services and no disruption to client’s or business operations.
• Support and engage with Customers, Service Technicians and contractors undertaking support activities and overseeing maintenance works.
• Respond to customer requests and critical events swiftly.
• Ensure personnel are performing activities safely and in accordance with CDC’s processes and procedures.
• Provide timely reporting of events, and support restoration to normal operations.
