Job summary

CDC Data Centres Pty is seeking an Associate Service Technician for 24/7 coverage to support data centre operations. The role focuses on customer support, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure uptime and service continuity across CDC’s secure facilities.

The ideal candidate may have trade training or be willing to learn and grow, with opportunities for development, training through the CDC Academy, and comprehensive leave options. Closing date 25 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working in technical environments such as telecommunications, fibre, fire systems, trades, IT, industrial facilities, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and engage with customers, service technicians and contractors undertaking support activities and overseeing maintenance works.
• Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure continuity of services and no disruption to client’s or business operations.
• Utilise electronic monitoring systems to proactively oversee and monitor site conditions.
• Respond to customer requests and critical events swiftly.
• Ensure personnel are performing activities safely and in accordance with CDC’s processes and procedures.
• Provide timely reporting of events, and support restoration to normal operations.
