Job summary

AirTrunk is hiring a Maintenance Services Manager to lead the on-site technician team at a Sydney data centre. You will partner with the STSM to maintain 24/7 operations, achieve 100% uptime, and meet customer SLAs while coordinating vendors and internal stakeholders.

You will establish best practices, supervise maintenance activities, and drive incident resolution, change management, and safety compliance. A strong leadership mindset and deep data centre experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical and electrical work within data centres or similar facilities.
• Ability to develop and review Procedure documents, incident summaries and O&M manuals.
• Experience coordinating third-party service providers and negotiating quotes.
• Familiarity with Customer Portals, BMS and CMMS systems.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of on-site technician teams, reporting to STSM, and manage resources 24/7.
• Ensure services meet uptime targets and comply with customer SLAs.
• Plan, supervise maintenance activities, both planned and reactive, on the site.
• Set performance goals, coach team members, and handle complex technical incidents.
• Maintain SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and regulatory documentation; ensure training where needed.
• Prepare maintenance plans and asset management tasks, including changes.
• Coordinate change requests and attend critical switching and isolation tasks outside normal hours.
• Monitor operational metrics, analyze risks, and conduct property inspections.
• Be the primary operational contact for vendors and escalation point for emergencies.
