Job summary

Check Point Software in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Security Engineer (Presales) to join our growing team. You will work with the Sales group to tailor Check Point solutions to customer cyber security needs and demonstrate the full portfolio to drive engagements.

You’ll lead technical engagements, answer complex questions, run Proof-of-Value sessions, and support partners and customers adopting the latest security technologies.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in Computer Engineering, CS, IS or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in engineering and pre-sales.
• Solid understanding of network security and Check Point Gateways.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with large to mid-size enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical engagement, addressing questions, providing consultative advice and managing tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
• Demonstrate the full portfolio of Check Point solutions to keep organizations safe from threats.
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Support responses to RFIs & RFPs with the relevant bid teams.
• Engage and enable partners and customers on latest cyber security technologies.
• Participate in cyber security events and report activity timely to the Manager.
