Job summary

Check Point is seeking a seasoned Security Engineer in Brisbane to join our global team. You will work hands-on with our advanced cyber security technologies, leading technical engagements and shaping customer solutions to address evolving security challenges.

You will collaborate with Sales, deliver expert guidance, and support RFI/RFP responses while engaging partners and customers in cutting-edge cyber security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant security engineering and pre-sales / post-sales / solution architect experience
• Solid understanding of Network Security principles
• Experience with Check Point Security Gateways or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Sales Team to recommend Check Point solutions meeting cyber security needs
• Provide insights and advice to customers based on Check Point's best practice
• Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, and managing Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
• Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions to keep organizations safe from threats
• Drive meetings with customers to identify their problems and provide solutions
• Support responses to RFIs & RFPs with the relevant bid teams
• Engage and support the enablement of partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies
• Active participation in cyber security events
• Keep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with the Manager
