Job summary

3Columns is a growing Cyber Security company seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/Perth client base. You will generate qualified leads, nurture relationships with new customers, and deepen knowledge of 3Columns’ offerings to drive sales.

We expect fire-in-the-belly performers with a track record in cyber security or IT sales and the drive to learn new technologies. This role offers uncapped commission and growth into management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Sales, preferably in security or IT.
• Proven experience selling cybersecurity solutions and related services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts and identify key players, generate interest, qualify and generate leads.
• Pre-call prep, qualification & discovery calling, handling objections, and follow-up.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure requirements are understood.
• Work with internal pre-sales or engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Strong writing and follow-up skills.
• Lead the team on every step of the sales cycle from discovery to closure.
