Qualifications

• Licensed Customs Broker (essential).
• Proven experience in import/export customs clearance operations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian customs legislation, tariff classification and valuation.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across customs, freight forwarding and transport teams.

Responsibilities

• Lodging import and export declarations and managing customs entries from start to finish.
• Ensuring accurate tariff classification, valuation, and application of relevant Australian customs, quarantine, and other requirements.
• Reviewing shipping and customs documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Providing advisory services on duty minimisation, tariff concessions, and duty drawback.
• Liaising with clients, internal freight teams, and government agencies.
• Managing multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
