Job summary

Avis Budget Group on the Sunshine Coast Airport in Queensland is hiring a Rental Operations Agent / Customer Service Representative. This casual role involves greeting customers at the rental counter, processing bookings, and replying to inquiries.

You will work 3-4 days per week, with a base rate of $34.96 per hour plus loadings and a bonus structure, plus free staff parking and a supportive culture. Comprehensive training is provided as part of joining a global company.

Qualifications

• Full and valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Availability to work on a rotating roster across 3–4 days per week.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or sales is a plus.
• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rentals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face at the rental counter.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles per standards.
• Inspect vehicles for damages from previous rentals.

About the Role

In this role you will be the face of our brand! You’ll interact with our customers at the rental counter, complete rental bookings and respond to general customer inquiries.

What you’ll do

• Interact with our customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand
• Completing rental transactions, contracts and bookings
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles according to company standards
• Inspecting vehicles for any damages that occurred during the previous rentals

What we’re looking for
