Job summary

Lumus Imaging, a leading Australian imaging provider, is seeking a casual, phone-based customer service professional to support patients and referrers. You will manage inbound calls, book and adjust appointments, and respond to service inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and teamwork within a busy, patient-focused environment at our Chatswood office. Previous contact centre experience is valuable; comfort with multiple computer systems is essential.

• Warm, calm and professional phone manner with strong active listening skills.
• Confident navigating multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
• Clear communication and genuine care for the people you're speaking with.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from patients and referrers with warmth and efficiency.
• Book, reschedule and confirm appointments across multiple imaging modalities.
• Answer enquires about services, preparation instructions and results processes.
• Provide a high level of customer experience on every call, especially for anxious or unwell patients.
• Accurately recording call outcomes and patient details in our systems.
• Work closely with clinic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless patient journey.

About the role

About you

• Previous experience in a phone-based customer service or contact centre role. Medical or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essential

• Confidence navigating multiple computer systems while speaking with customers
• Clear communication skills and genuine care for the people you're speaking with
