Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a premier Australian flooring manufacturer seeking a experienced Customer Service Officer to join a close-knit team. The role is initially based in Truganina, moving to a brand-new Port Melbourne facility this September, with 100% onsite work.

You will manage orders, inquiries and admin, support the sales team, coordinate stock and liaise with suppliers, delivering proactive service to internal and external customers. A proactive, detail-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and administration.
• PRMS experience is highly regarded.
• Strong Excel and Word skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication via phone and email.
• Highly organized and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, credits, and invoices in PRMS.
• Answer calls and emails to resolve queries promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Support sales with pricing updates and data maintenance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (100% Onsite)

About the Role

Our client is a premier Australian leader in flooring manufacturing and supply. Driven by ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their tight knit, collaborative team. Initially based in Truganina, the business will be transitioning to a brand new facility in Port Melbourne this September. This position requires a proactive, hands on professional dedicated to delivering exceptional service to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Management: Accurately process customer orders, credits, and invoices using the PRMS system.
• Enquiry Resolution: Manage incoming calls and emails, resolving customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels, track shortages, and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Sales & Administrative Support: Support the sales team with deal sheets, pricing updates, and ongoing database maintenance.
• Supplier Liaison: Monitor third-party supplier service levels and KPIs to guarantee timely deliveries.

• Experience: Proven track record in customer service and administration (experience with PRMS is highly regarded).
• Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette paired with a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, supported by high attention to detail.
