Job summary

Colac Otway Shire Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a temporary full-time maternity leave position based in Colac. You will deliver efficient information services to residents and customers across face-to-face, phone and digital channels, aligning with Council values.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and clerical skills, with experience in reception and CRM systems. Salary ranges from $71,667.44 to $75,515.44 AUD per year pro rata plus superannuation.

Qualifications

Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills in team settings.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in customer service and front-desk/reception/call centre environments.
Proficient computer literacy and experience with databases and CRM systems.
Ability to source accurate information quickly and effectively.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
