Qualifications

• Experience within hardware, fasteners, construction supplies, manufacturing, or logistics.

• Experience with ERP/CRM inventory systems and basic Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organization skills, high attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume inquiries from commercial and trade clients via phone, email, and trade counter.
• Enter and process sales orders, quotes, and product specs into ERP/inventory system.
• Advise trade clients on fastener products, specs, stock, and lead times.
• Coordinate logistics with warehouse staff and dispatch drivers for on-time delivery.
• Handle customer feedback, order changes, returns, and delivery updates.

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join an established, industry-leading fasteners company based in Prestons, NSW.

In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for trade clients, builders, contractors, and industrial suppliers. You will manage incoming inquiries, process orders for fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws, construction supplies), and ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume incoming phone, email, and trade counter inquiries from commercial and trade clients.
• Order Processing: Accurately enter and process sales orders, quotes, and product specifications into the ERP/inventory system.
• Product Support: Advise trade clients on fastener products, specifications, stock availability, and lead times.
• Logistics Coordination: Liaise with internal warehouse staff and dispatch drivers to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of orders.
• Issue Resolution: Handle customer feedback, order changes, returns, and delivery updates promptly and professionally.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience within hardware, fasteners, construction supplies, manufacturing, or logistics.
