Job summary

Sirius People is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join an established hardware fasteners company in Prestons, NSW. You will be the primary contact for trade clients, manage inquiries, process orders, advise on products, and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience within hardware, fasteners, construction supplies, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Basic knowledge of trade hardware and ability to learn product lines quickly.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication with a confident phone manner.
• Experience with ERP/CRM inventory systems and basic Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organization skills, high attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume inquiries from commercial and trade clients via phone, email, and trade counter.
• Enter and process sales orders, quotes, and product specs into ERP/inventory system.
• Advise trade clients on fastener products, specs, stock, and lead times.
• Coordinate logistics with warehouse staff and dispatch drivers for on-time delivery.
• Handle customer feedback, order changes, returns, and delivery updates.
