Job summary

The Bolt Barn specialises in fasteners, tools and industrial supplies for the trade, construction and manufacturing industries. With branches in Grafton and Lismore, we’re known for strong local relationships and reliable service within a large national group.

We are seeking a motivated team member for a Monday to Friday role to serve trade customers at the counter, over the phone and by email; prepare quotes and orders; assist with stock and general admin; and help with occasional local

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales, hardware or industrial supply is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a busy environment.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of shifts and sales opportunities.

About the Role

• Serve trade customers at the counter, over the phone and via email
• Prepare quotes, process orders and respond to customer enquiries
• Assist with purchasing, receiving stock and general administration
• Pick and pack orders, restock shelves and help with general warehouse duties
• Build strong relationships with regular customers and look for opportunities to grow sales
• Help with occasional local deliveries and check in with other customers nearby to pick up extra orders

About You

Trade sales, hardware, industrial supply or hands-on trade experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. If you have a great attitude, learn quickly and are confident with customers, we’d still like to hear from you.

• Confidence dealing with tradies and understanding what they need
• Good customer service, communication and organisation skills
• The initiative to take ownership and look for sales opportunities
• A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to help across the branch
• A current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
