Job summary

Be the voice of Boral Concrete for our customers. Based in our Milton office, you'll support customers with orders and general enquiries in our busy Customer Service Centre, making sure every order is processed accurately and delivered on time.

This is a permanent, full-time role on a monthly rotating roster. Shifts start and finish between 5:30am and 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating Saturday roster from 5:30am to 12pm.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, ideally in a contact or call centre.
• Reliable, professional team player who works well with colleagues in the office.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and confidence using computer systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Exposure to construction, building materials or logistics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and enter them into our systems accurately and efficiently (full training provided).
• Track deliveries using vehicle tracking systems and keep customers updated on their order status.
• Learn the production capabilities of the Boral plant and truck network.
• Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Work closely with our operational teams to deliver great customer outcomes.
