Job summary

Rum City Foods is seeking a Customer Service & Admin Officer for our F&B Department at the Rockhampton Depot. You will be the first point of contact for customers, taking orders by phone, email and voicemail, and coordinating with drivers.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 5am to 1pm with no weekend work. You will handle orders, print pick slips, prepare run sheets and support behind the scenes to keep the team running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Rum City Foods is a local, family owned and operated foodservice distributor with depots in Bundaberg, Maryborough, Gladstone and Rockhampton. We are looking for an organised, reliable, energetic and hardworking individual to join our team as Customer Service & Admin Officer for our F&V Department, based out of our new Rockhampton Depot.

The offered position is full-time, with hours being Monday to Friday 5am to 1pm. No weekend work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Be the 1st point of contact for customers calling to place orders and make enquiries.
• Enter customer orders received over phone, from voicemail and via e-mail
• Liaising with customers professionally - answering queries and following up on orders as needed
• Managing orders including - printing pick slips / delivery dockets, entering invoices and preparing run sheets
• Assisting with other general admin tasks
• Keep things running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes for pickers and drivers
