Job summary

Bidfood Rockhampton is looking for a reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our Parkhurst branch in a fulltime or casual role. You’ll be picking, packing and loading orders, managing inbound stock and keeping the warehouse tidy and efficient.

You’ll rotate across dry, chilled and frozen duties, with opportunities to learn and grow. Forklift licence is preferred; past warehouse experience is advantageous, and a pre-employment medical may be required.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks.
• Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience is a plus.
• Forklift licence with reach experience preferred but not essential.
• Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical if required.

Job description

Bidfood Rockhampton is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Storeperson at our Parkhurst branch. This is a fulltime or casual role, working Monday to Friday.

This role suits someone who works well in a fast‑paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It’s physical, it’s practical and it’s essential to the success of hospitality businesses.

About the role

On a typical day, you’ll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, managing inbound stock and helping keep our warehouse tidy, organised and running like clockwork. You’ll rotate across dry, chilled and frozen duties, so no two shifts feel quite the same. The role will also require you to:

• Pick and assemble goods accurately
• Load trucks efficiently and safely

• Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
• Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -25°C)
• Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
• Work overtime when required to meet demand

About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You’re punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.

If you’ve worked in hospitality or kitchens before and understand the pace and importance of getting things right, that experience translates perfectly to this role. Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.
