Job summary

Avis Budget Group on the Sunshine Coast Airport is seeking an entry‑level team member to handle customer interactions, bookings, and inquiries at the rental counter. You will be the face of the brand and support customers through the rental process.

The role offers a casual 3-4 day per week schedule, with training provided and opportunities for career growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with high customer interaction.
• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• A full and valid Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand.
• Completing rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles per company standards.
• Inspecting vehicles for damages from previous rentals.

About The Role

In this role you will be the face of our brand! You’ll interact with our customers at the rental counter, complete rental bookings and responding to general customer inquiries.

What You’ll Do

• Interact with our customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand
• Completing rental transactions, contracts and bookings
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles according to company standards
• Inspecting vehicles for any damages that occurred during the previous rentals

What We’re Looking For

• A full and valid Australian driver’s licence
• Availability to work on a rotating roster across 3-4 days per week
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service
• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
