Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring at Mount Isa Airport to be the face of our brand, handling rentals, bookings and customer inquiries with a friendly, service-first approach.

The role is entry-level with full training provided; the successful candidate will work a rotating schedule including weekends and evenings, in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with opportunities for growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• Must have a full and valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or sales is a plus.
• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand at the rental counter.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles according to company standards.
• Inspect vehicles for damages from previous rentals.

About the Role

In this role you will be the face of our brand! You’ll interact with our customers at the rental counter, complete rental bookings and responding to general customer inquiries.

What you’ll do

• Interact with our customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand
• Completing rental transactions, contracts and bookings
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles according to company standards
• Inspecting vehicles for any damages that occurred during the previous rentals
