Job summary

City of Perth is recruiting for a Customer Experience Officer to be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and businesses across phone, email, online and face-to-face channels. You will help people navigate City services and access information in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

This role involves processing bookings and payments, maintaining records, and supporting City events and initiatives while delivering exceptional service as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and helping people find solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organised, adaptable and professional when priorities change.
• Works effectively independently and in a team.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft365.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for enquiries across phone, email, online and face-to-face channels.
• Help residents, visitors and businesses access City services and information.
• Manage competing priorities and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Process bookings, payments and correspondence while maintaining accurate records.
• Support wider City events, initiatives and the day-to-day operation of the Customer Experience Centre.
• Work collaboratively with a high-performing team to deliver great service.
