Blackwoods in Australia is hiring a Customer Care Consultant to be the friendly, solutions‑focused voice for customers across the country. You’ll support enquiries in our call centre, helping customers find the right solutions from our extensive product range while contributing to sales and fulfilling our Customer Promise.

In this permanent full‑time role, you’ll manage sales and service enquiries, build relationships with customers and internal teams, use our focus systems to deliver the best

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or a call centre (industrial supply/trade knowledge is an advantage).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work well in a team and foster positive relationships.
• Computer literacy (Windows, telephony systems).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse and solve customer issues.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and commitment to high service standards.

Responsabilités

• Manage sales, service and backorder enquiries, aiming for first-call resolution
• Build strong relationships with customers, Account Managers and internal teams
• Use questioning techniques and systems (FOCUS) to provide the best product and service solutions
• Identify future sales or cross-selling opportunities
• Support team members and contribute to group projects
• Seek ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
