Job summary

CommBank in Scone is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist to join our Multi Channel Branch. This part-time role offers 35 hours per week and is based in the Scone Branch, with rostered hours including Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

You’ll be the public face of our branch, delivering trusted banking support to local customers. You’ll engage customers on Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice, handle account enquiries, and complete Financial Health Checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity and place the customer at the centre.
• Ability to work in a busy, customer-facing retail environment while focusing on holistic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Assist customers with enquiries and maintenance on accounts and process credit product applications.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess needs and identify changes.
• Demonstrate in-branch technology and digital banking options to customers.
• Build trust by following processes and driving a risk-aware culture.
