Job summary

Armidale Private Hospital is seeking a CSSD Technician to join the Sterilisation Team on a permanent, part-time basis. Responsibilities include decontamination, processing, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of reusable medical devices for various clinical departments.

You will work within a supportive team to meet perioperative needs, delivering high standards of service with a focus on patient care. Training is provided, and AS 5369:2023 knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Prior CSSD experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer service oriented in internal/external settings.

Responsibilities

• Process instruments, trays and equipment in a timely manner.
• Coordinate across Operating Theatre areas to maintain workflow.
