Job summary

Maryborough District Health Service is seeking a CSSD Instrument Technician for a permanent part-time position. The role focuses on the safe cleaning, disinfection, sterilisation and processing of surgical instruments and medical devices in a busy CSSD environment.

We value teamwork, attention to detail and flexibility to support operational needs. A background in Endoscopy reprocessing is highly regarded, with a commitment to quality, safety and standards compliance.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician.
Experience in Endoscopy reprocessing is highly regarded.
A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to teamwork.
Flexibility to support operational requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A conscientious approach to quality, safety and compliance with AS 5369 and other relevant standards.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the safe and effective cleaning, disinfection, sterilisation and processing of surgical instruments and medical devices.
