Job summary

St John of God Bendigo Hospital in Bendigo, Victoria, is seeking an Instrument Technician to join the CSSD team. The role involves reprocessing reusable medical devices and Endoscopy equipment, with duties across cleaning, sterilisation, autoclaving and distribution of sterile instruments.

This permanent part-time position operates on a rotating roster between 7:00am and 10:30pm, with some weekend work and regular late shifts from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• You will have knowledge of OH&S legislation and infection control standards.
• You can work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• On-the-job training is provided for this role.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess reusable medical devices and Endoscopy equipment.
• Clean, sterilise, autoclave and distribute sterile instruments.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care.
• Work across CSSD within a rotating roster.
