Western Health is seeking a qualified Instrument Technician for the Central Sterilisation and Supply Department at Sunshine/JKWC Hospitals. The role involves sterilizing medical devices, maintaining tracking via Scancare, and supporting operating suites and wards.

You will rotate between CSSD duties across Western Health campuses and work a Monday–Friday roster, with grading per the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• Hold Certificate 3 or 4 in Sterilization and at least 2 years CSSD experience.
• Available to work a rotating roster, Monday to Friday.
• Strong teamwork, organization and time-management skills.
• Proficient with computer systems to navigate the tracking system.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing of reusable medical devices in accordance with national standards and hospital policies.
• Understand and apply the principles of sterilization, disinfection and tracking in the CSSD environment.
• Navigate the tracking system (Scancare) to support daily work requirement.
