Job summary

Accor offers a full-time Commis Chef position at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. You will assist with all food production across breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banquets and buffets, while upholding HACCP standards and a clean, efficient kitchen.

You will work under the Executive Chef with a focus on teamwork, high-quality food production, and timely service, including support for special requests and rotating rosters. An essential Food Safety Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate is essential.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or banqueting environment.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to requests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and production for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banqueting and buffet service.
• Maintain clean, hygienic and organised work environments and HACCP standards.
• Perform tasks promptly to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Support stock rotation and wastage reduction while maintaining hygiene.
