Job summary

Mantra South Bank in Brisbane city is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to learn from our senior chefs, bring your passion for food, and contribute to our team delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires recognised culinary training, a commercial cookery certificate, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. You'll gain hands-on experience, HACCP knowledge, and opportunities across Accor's global network.

Qualifications

• Recognised culinary training and employment experience.
• Commercial cookery certification and safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor.
• Ambition, raw talent and passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food presented to guests aligns with property standards and is served timely with high quality.
• Adhere to health, safety and HACCP regulations with solid understanding.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency in preparing food items.
• Receive ongoing training from senior chefs.
• Handle kitchen tasks from dishwashing to crafting dishes.
