Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice.
• Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Medical fitness and suitability for custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage inmates in secured environments.
• Conduct headcounts, searches, and movements.
• Monitor activities and support programs within prisons and court cells.
• Make quick, calm decisions under pressure and use force only when appropriate.
