Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Cooling Towers based in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth). You will drive sales of evaporative cooling systems across industrial, HVAC, power and process cooling sectors, working with engineers, contractors and end-users to deliver tailored cooling solutions.

You will conduct site surveys, perform load calculations, prepare detailed proposals with ROI analyses, and lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified in TC or Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical or related field.
• 3–7+ years of technical sales experience in cooling towers, HVAC or related process equipment.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, psychrometrics and water chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs with engineers, contractors, and end-users and close complex capital equipment sales.
• Perform site surveys, load calculations and performance evaluations for cooling towers.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals with sizing, P&IDs, specs and ROI analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering/manufacturing on custom solutions and product feedback.
• Deliver technical seminars and product training to engineers and contractors.
• Develop relationships with key accounts and manage full sales cycle from lead to order close.
