Job summary

Hunter & Barrel Raine Square is seeking an experienced Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. You will work in a high-volume restaurant, cooking over our signature coal grill and rotisserie, and contribute to delivering consistently excellent dishes.

You should have a minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery or 1–3 years of experience, be able to work hot and pan sections, maintain impeccable hygiene, and handle a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar high volume, fast paced restaurant environment.
• Experience cooking over a char-grill an advantage
• Ability to work hot and pan section within a kitchen
• Proven ability to adapt to a fast paced environment ensuring high attention to detail
• Effective in time management
• The passion for hospitality and the production of high quality dishes
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
• Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
• A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification AND/OR at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience
• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience

Hunter & Barrel celebrates quality meat and produce, cooked expertly over our signature coal grill and rotisserie.

To be considered for this role you must have:

Experience working in a similar high volume, fast paced restaurant environment

Experience cooking over a char-grill an advantage

Ability to work hot and pan section within a kitchen

Proven ability to adapt to a fast paced environment ensuring high attention to detail
