Job summary

SRG Hospitality, Akti in Woolloomooloo, seeks a Cook to join a dynamic kitchen team. You will support daily service while maintaining high culinary and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a culinary qualification or substantial experience, multitasking ability, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to work with a professional crew. On-site, with weekend and public holiday rosters.

Job Description

Cook SRG Hospitality - Akti, Woolloomooloo SRG Hospitality - Akti is currently recruiting for Cooks to join our friendly and motivated team at Akti, Wolloomooloo.

From 2 hatted fine dining to stunning waterfront views and relaxed café fare, the group is diverse, offering a range of restaurant experiences to suit every occasion.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, supporting daily service while maintaining high culinary and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

About You

• Relevant culinary qualification and at least 1 year of relevant work experience OR a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for cooking
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Sound understanding of HACCP and Food Safety regulations
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
