Job summary

SRG Hospitality – Sails Lavender Bay is hiring a Cook to join our kitchen team at Sails Lavender Bay, Mcmahons Point. You will support daily service while maintaining high culinary and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a culinary qualification and 1 year of experience or 3 years in a similar role, with a positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork. The position is full-time, on-site, with weekends and public holidays rotating.

SRG Hospitality – Sails Lavender Bay is currently recruiting for Cooks to join our friendly and motivated team at Sails Lavender Bay, Mcmahons Point.

From 2 hatted fine dining to stunning waterfront views and relaxed café fare, the group is diverse, offering a range of restaurant experiences to suit every occasion.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, supporting daily service while maintaining high culinary and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

About You

You will ideally bring:

Relevant culinary qualification and at least 1 year of relevant work experience OR a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role;

Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure;

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic;

High standards of personal presentation and hygiene;

A positive attitude and genuine passion for cooking;

Strong teamwork and communication skills;

Sound understanding of HACCP and Food Safety regulations;

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Competitive salary of $80,000 – $90,000 per annum, depending on experience;
