Alliance Automation is seeking a Senior Control Systems & Safety Engineer to design, implement and commission advanced control solutions across heavy industry. You’ll work directly with clients to capture requirements, develop practical scopes of work and deliver safe, compliant systems.
You’ll apply functional safety principles, conduct hazard analyses, and oversee SIL verification while owning technical outcomes and mentoring the team. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Senior Control Systems & Safety Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems & Safety Engineer to join our growing team and deliver high-quality control systems, automation and functional safety solutions across complex industrial environments.
This is a hands‑on senior engineering role where you’ll work directly with clients, solve complex technical challenges and take ownership of control systems projects from design and development through to commissioning.
Design, develop, implement and commission advanced control system solutions across complex industrial environments.
Understand operational challenges, define requirements and develop clear, practical scopes of work.
Apply functional and machine safety principles throughout the project lifecycle, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, safety lifecycle activities and SIL verification.
Take responsibility for your technical deliverables, ensuring they meet the required standards for quality, safety and performance.
Solve complex engineering challenges, provide senior-level technical support and share your knowledge and experience with the wider engineering team.
We’re particularly interested in experienced Control Systems Engineers who bring additional functional safety capability.
Qualifications or certifications such as the following will be highly regarded:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred, combined with demonstrated industry experience in control systems and automation.
