Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Full Time Control Room Operator in Macquarie Park, NSW to join a global security team. The role focuses on monitoring control room systems, protecting assets, and delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Security Licence, have strong communication skills, and be able to work 4 on 4 off shifts across day and night rotations. You will operate CCTV, alarms and access control to maintain safety.

About the role

Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an excitingposition available for a Full Time Security Officer - (Control Room Operator) to join our business and work for a very well-known Global client in ourMacquarie Park, NSW location.

TheControl Room Operatormust be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security License are encouraged to apply.

We have a Full Time position with a rotational 4 on 4 off roster (Days - 0600 to 1800 and Nights - 1800 to 0600).

Key Tasks

• Provide a security service in line with site SOPs and customer requirements by effectively operating and monitoring control room systems to protect the customer's employees, property, and other assets.
• Deliver the highest levels of customer service while consistently demonstrating Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Deliver a consistently accurate, discreet, and security-focused monitoring and coordination service to support all visitors, guests, and employees at the designated site(s).
• Ensure the safety and protection of the customer's people, property, and information at all times through vigilant system monitoring, incident reporting, and timely escalation, maintaining an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.
• Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer at all times.
• Respond to and manage queries from the public, customers/visitors, and employees via control room communication channels.
• Must have a valid Security License.
• Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear radio and phone communication.
• Ability to work independently, remain self-aware, and motivated, as well as work effectively as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Previous experience in a security control room, monitoring environment, or with security awareness training.
• Experience in managing and coordinating responses via CCTV, alarm, and access control systems is highly regarded.
