Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Casual ASOC Operator to join our team in Erskine Park, NSW. You will monitor ASOC systems, CCTV, alarms, and access control, ensuring rapid and accurate incident handling in a high-profile corporate environment.

The role requires NSW Security Licence and NV1 clearance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts across day and night. Casual employment with full training and support is provided.

Qualifications

• NSW Security Licence required.
• NV1 security clearance mandatory.
• Experience in ASOC/SOC or security control room preferred.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts (12-hour).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ASOC systems per SOPs and client requirements.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and integrated security platforms.
• Identify, assess, escalate, and document security incidents accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate responses with on-site teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain safety and security of people, property, and sensitive information.
• Deliver professional and consistent communication across ASOC channels.
• Uphold confidentiality and embody Securitas’ values.

About the Role

Location:Erskine Park, Hunting wood NSW
Employment Type:Casual
Shift Timings :12 hour shifts -6AM to 6PM / 6PM -6AM based on operational requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ASOC systems in line with site SOPs and client requirements.
• Monitor and manage CCTV, alarms, access control, and integrated security platforms.
• Identify, assess, elevate, and document security incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate responses with on-site teams and stakeholders as required.
• Maintain the safety and security of people, property, and sensitive information at all times.
• Deliver professional and consistent communication across all ASOC channels.
• Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate Securitas’ core values in all interaction
• Current and valid NSW Security Licence.
• NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
• Strong alignment with Securitas’ values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail and incident reporting capability.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to rotating day and night shifts.
• Previous experience in an ASOC, SOC, or security control room environment is highly regarded.
• Experience with CCTV, alarm monitoring, and access control systems is desirable.
