Job summary

Securitas NSW is seeking a dedicated Corporate Security Officer for a full-time role in Sydney CBD. The position involves static and roving duties to protect client site assets, monitor CCTV, manage access control, and respond to alarms.

You will coordinate with IT, facilities, HR and legal teams to ensure a secure environment. The role requires a current NSW Security License, strong communication, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security License is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills with basic MS Office knowledge.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to stay customer-focused and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and roving duties to secure the Client's Corporate office space and its critical infrastructure.
• Monitor CCTV system and manage access control.
• Respond to alarms in compliance with global guidelines and escalate as needed.
• Provide basic First Aid and respond to incidents onsite.
• Enforce Client's badging and access control policies.
• Perform daily security operations as directed by the site Security Supervisor.
• Participate in safety and security drills (Fire Drill, Intrusion Exercises).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Real Estate Facilities, HR, Legal, etc.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and build strong working relationships.

Securitas NSW is looking for an experienced and skilled Security Officer to provide exceptional service to this client site in Sydney CBD. Successful applicants will play an important role in ensuring clients' data integrity, visitor management and asset protection.

Job Location :Sydney CBD

We have a Full Time Rotational Day & Night Shift position available - 4 on 4 off rotation

• Participate in scheduled safety and security exercises (e.g. Fire Drill and Security Intrusion Exercises)
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and collaborative working relationships with multiple cross-functional teams and business stakeholders including, but not limited to, IT, Global Real Estate Facilities, Human Resources, Legal etc.
• Current NSW Security License
• Strong ability to adapt and adjust quickly to a variety of situations, making well-informed decisions with minimum supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a working command of the English language (both verbal & written)
• Good IT knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Word ,Outlook
• Strong passion for customer satisfaction and sense of ownership.
