Job summary

2609 Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join a Canberra masonry subcontractor embedded role, handling contract administration end to end with potential expansion across clients.

You will work with senior management, use Procore, Simpel, and related systems, and focus on progress claims, variations, safety paperwork, and general admin to keep projects moving on site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years as a Contracts Administrator in construction.
• Australian citizenship to work on secure projects.
• The right attitude; systems/processes can be taught, but care and ownership cannot.
• Clear communication; no letting things slide.
• References we can call.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with progress claims, variations, and the back-and-forth that comes with them.
• Tracking delays and EOTs, and keeping the records that back them up.
• Programming and coordinating works against the head contractor's program.
• Day to day head contractor relations.
• Assisting with safety paperwork and compliance.
• The general project admin that keeps a job moving.
• Coming up with better ways to do things, and implementing them.
