Job summary

Geyer Valmont in Sydney is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to bridge design and delivery across commercial interiors. As a Contracts Administrator, you'll manage the end-to-end administration of construction contracts. You'll be the bridge between design and delivery and make sure every trade is engaged on time, and every variation is captured before it becomes a problem.It's a pivotal role built for someone as comfortable with contracts and numbers as they are with people.

You Will

Administer client contracts, negotiate trade engagement, prepare scope of works documentations, manage progress claims, and oversee subcontractor assessments in line with the Security of Payments Act

Develop procurement schedules and manage long lead-time items to keep every project on track for its delivery milestones

Build rapport with Building and Facility Managers, maintaining transparent, timely communication that keeps client satisfaction high

Complete cost reports on time, manage project risk registers, and keep HSEQ documentation accurate and up to date

Work closely with Designers, Site Foremen and Project Managers, guiding staff to resolving disputes cleanly and quickly

Who We Are Looking For

This role will suit an experienced Contract Administrator with a strong understanding of the commercial fit-out sector.

Minumum 2 years' experience as a Contract Administrator, or similar is required

A sound understanding of the commercial fit-out sector and experience managing complex procurement schedules.

Ability to review designs and budgets, document detailed scopes of work, and follow strict contract execution procedures.

Strong negotiation skills, with a moral and ethical approach to dealing with contractors and suppliers to achieve the best project outcomes.
