Job summary

Geyer Valmont in Melbourne, VIC is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage end-to-end contract administration for complex commercial interior projects. You’ll bridge design and delivery, ensure timely engagement of trades, and capture variations before they impact project outcomes.

Working closely with designers, site foremen and project managers, you’ll develop scopes, manage progress claims, risk registers, and uphold safety and quality standards while maintaining clear client

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator
• Experience in commercial fit-out sector and managing complex procurement schedules
• Ability to review designs and budgets, document detailed scopes of work, and follow contract procedures
• Strong negotiation skills with ethical approach to contractors and suppliers
• Commitment to championing a safety culture

Responsibilities

• Administer client contracts, negotiate engagement, prepare scopes of works, manage progress claims, oversee subcontractor assessments under the Security of Payments Act
• Develop procurement schedules and manage long lead-time items to keep projects on track
• Build rapport with Building and Facility Managers and maintain transparent, timely client communications
• Complete cost reports, manage project risk registers, and maintain HSEQ documentation
• Collaborate with Designers, Site Foremen and Project Managers to resolve disputes efficiently
