Job summary

Genus is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major BESS project in Victoria. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to manage subcontract packages, procurement, costs and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Based in Victoria, this role offers an opportunity to apply your commercial skills on a significant energy infrastructure project while working as part of a collaborative team that prioritises

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract Administrator on construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Sound understanding of subcontract administration, claims and variations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering subcontract agreements
• Managing progress claims, payment assessments and variations
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Tracking costs, commitments and commercial risks
• Maintaining accurate contract records, registers and correspondence
• Preparing commercial reports and working with the project team to resolve contractual matters
