Job summary

GenusPlus seeks a senior leader to deliver a major BESS project in Wodonga from design through handover, with a flexible DIDO or FIFO roster. You will own safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes while building strong client and stakeholder relationships.

You will lead design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing risks to ensure project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing BESS, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure or major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery across design, construction and commissioning.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors with safety, cost and quality focus.

The Role

The role will be responsible for the project’s safety, quality, programme and commercial performance. You will lead the team from design and construction through to commissioning and handover, while building strong relationships with the client, contractors and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

About You

• Demonstrated ability to manage safety, programme, cost, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Sound contractual and commercial capability, including forecasting, variations and risk management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client-management skills.
• A practical leadership style and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
• Current working rights in Australia.
• Ability to work on site in Wodonga on an agreed DIDO or FIFO roster.
