Job summary

Genus is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major BESS project in Victoria, Australia. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to manage subcontract packages, procurement, costs and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract Administrator on construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of subcontract administration, claims and variations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
• Managing progress claims, payment assessments and variations.
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Tracking costs, commitments and commercial risks.
• Maintaining accurate contract records, registers and correspondence.
• Preparing commercial reports and working with the project team to resolve contractual matters.
