Job summary

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) invites applications for a Content Operations Manager to drive scheduling, playout, and network coordination across metro, regional and network stations. You will work closely with Head of Content Operations to support planning, coverage and live operations for diverse markets.

There is a strong emphasis on process improvement, documentation, and cross-team collaboration to ensure on-air excellence and audience engagement across SCA’s broadcast audio programming.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in broadcast audio operations across scheduling, logs, playout and market cover.
• Operational capability across multiple broadcast audio networks and markets, or the ability to build it quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to support and develop other team members.
• Ability to work independently and at pace in a reactive environment, moving across multiple areas and adjusting priorities at short notice.
• Ability to take direction from multiple managers and prioritise effectively.
• Sound knowledge of broadcast scheduling and playout platforms, ideally Zetta and GSelector.

About the role:

The Content Operations Manager is a broad operational role in a fast-paced environment, working across SCA's broadcast audio programming. The role contributions to the operations for local markets and network programs across regional, provincial and metro programming, and takes on delegated operational work across the team.

The role supports the Head of Content Operations and fellow Content Operations Managers, helps develop team members, and contributes to project planning, Network playout execution and initiatives across SCA's broadcast audio programming as directed.
