Job summary

Southern Cross Austereo is seeking a Social Media Content Producer to lead the digital presence for 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath & Emma from our Sydney studio. You will craft engaging content and help shape the show’s online voice across multiple channels.

You will create and deploy content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more, collaborating with hosts and producers. You’ll analyse metrics, stay ahead of trends and grow the audience and podcast listenership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years creating social content for platforms like YouTube and socials.
• Strong production skills and knowledge of best‑practice techniques.
• Ability to write, produce, edit and post audio‑visual content for digital channels.
• Experience with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience with Photoshop, Canva, HTML and CMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule dynamic social content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms to amplify the show’s reach and continue the growth of the show’s podcast.
• Collaborate closely with hosts and producers to capture authentic behind‑the‑scenes moments and trending topics.
• Analyse performance and engagement metrics to refine strategies and maximise audience growth.
• Stay ahead of trends, bringing fresh, innovative ideas that keep the brand at the forefront of social media.

A day in the life?
