Southern Cross Austereo in Albury is seeking a confident and creative Announcer to host our Triple M Breakfast show from the regional NSW studio. You’ll craft local content, keep the music rolling, and connect with listeners on air, online and in the community.

Work closely with the Content Director to meet station objectives with engaging on-air and digital ideas, and be ready to fill in shifts as needed to keep the breakfast flow strong.

Qualifications

• Passion for Triple M audience and music scene.
• Commercial radio scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of Zetta radio software.
• Understanding CRA Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
• Strong on-air presence and proactive in role.
• Interest in pop culture and local events.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

About the Team & Office

We're on the hunt for a confident and creative Announcer to host our Triple M Breakfast shift in regional NSW. Based in our office in Albury, you'll craft compelling local content, keep the music rolling, and connect with our audience on air, online, and in the community.

A Day in the Life?

Asour Triple M Breakfast Announcer, you'll host shifts from our Albury studios and will be responsible for delivering compelling local and well targeted engaging content to our listeners.

In this role, you will work closely with the Content Director to ensure the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent local communication, effective tactical planning/execution and on air work that makes you stand out. You should embrace the Triple M brand and lifestyle though our many content outlets, including; on-air, social and digital.

You may be required to fill in shifts when staff are on leave.

What You'll Need

• Be passionate about our Triple M audience and it's music!
• Be competent with commercial radio music scheduling experience.
• Have knowledge of Zetta.
• Have an understanding of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
• Proficiency in driving the panel and being pro-active in all facets of your role to take your own career to the next level.
• Enjoy popular culture, social media, current affairs and local events; with a passion for taking content to the next level, both on air and on digital!
• A reliable, hardworking and results driven individual who's able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
