Job summary

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) invites applications for a Content Operations Manager to drive scheduling, playout, and network coordination across metro, regional and network stations. You will work closely with Head of Content Operations to support planning, coverage and live operations for diverse markets.

There is a strong emphasis on process improvement, documentation, and cross-team collaboration to ensure on-air excellence and audience engagement across SCA’s broadcast audio programming.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in broadcast audio operations across scheduling, logs, playout and market cover.
• Operational capability across multiple broadcast audio networks and markets, or the ability to build it quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to support and develop other team members.
• Ability to work independently and at pace in a reactive environment, moving across multiple areas and adjusting priorities at short notice.
• Ability to take direction from multiple managers and prioritise effectively.
• Sound knowledge of broadcast scheduling and playout platforms, ideally Zetta and GSelector.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across metro, regional and network stations to keep content on-air and running smoothly.
• Assist with scheduling, playout and management of all broadcast assets.
• Support programming projects and initiatives across the business.
• Build strong relationships with programming, content and operational teams.
• Help improve processes, maintain documentation and support team capability.
• Monitor on-air content and troubleshoot scheduling or playout issues.
• Develop expertise in scheduling and playout systems, including Zetta and GSelector.
